Does Coffee make Europeans Healthier?

Europe is one giant continent of coffee lovers. Can we associate that with their health?

The study is on European lifestyle. The Institute for Scientific Information on Coffee surveyed 10 European countries, just to find out the relationship between people’s health awareness and the latest scientific research on coffee.

The findings were unbelievable. In fact, coffee plays a great role in European way of life. Usually, Europeans drink coffee at home, at work or at ‘cafés’ or coffee shops with friends. Drinking coffee is one big social thing in Europe, as when you want to ask someone on date, you ask him or her to “have a cup of coffee, later” (and here we are giving tips on how to dazzle a European ).

Most Europeans say that they’re not totally awake before their morning cup of coffee. And, amazingly, 67% of the inquiries answered that they couldn’t imagine life without it.

Another finding was that more than 40% of both men and women plan to be healthier in 2016.

Yet, some European countries see themselves much healthier than others. 68% of British people consider their lifestyle fairly or very healthy. As for the Germans, 76% think their lives are healthy; so as 83% of the French; 76% of the Italian; 79% of the Spanish; 49% of the Danes; 77% of the Finns; 61% of the Greek; 63% of the Polish and 66% of the Dutch.

In fact, only 8% of the Danes were the most likely to describe their lifestyle as “very unhealthy”. On other hand 31% of the Finns were most likely to describe it as ‘very healthy’.

To sum up, 62% of coffee drinkers described their lifestyle as ‘fairly healthy’ while compared to the 48% of non-coffee drinkers.

So what do you think about having a more European way of life and start drinking a cup or two of coffee per day?
