If you have already made yourself the question: ‘who are the best coffee drinkers in the world?’, you are going to love these new stats on coffee drinking, producing and buying.

The website ilovecoffee.jp made a fantastic infographic that is going to blow your mind. The producing countries are not the best coffee drinkers; and the best coffee drinkers are not the greatest buyers! Coffee world is an odd thing!

First, did you know that Finland is best coffee drinker in the world? The Fins drink more or less 12kg of coffee per person a year! What a coffee lovers they are, don’t you think?

Yet, if we go to Norway (the second best coffee drinker) the number drops to 9.6kg. Denmark got the third place with 8.9kg a year; Netherlands, the 4th, with 8.2 kg a year; and Sweden the 5th with an 8kg consumption per person in a year.

But, in contrast we see that the United States of America is best coffee buyer, spending, at least 4,121,228,000 dollars in coffee per year. Only followed by Germany, with a 3,344,098,000 dollars spent; and Italy with 1,382,895,000 dollars.

When we talk about the producing countries Brazil gets the first place producing 54,500,000 bags per year! (And please notice that each bag weights 60kg or 132 pounds).
